River North
Situated north of the Chicago River and adjacent to Michigan Avenue, River North is a hub of ultra-urban nightlife, dining options, and art galleries. Nestled along the Chicago River, the Riverwalk is a great escape for water-front dining and amazing views of Chicago’s architecture.
At the heart of River North, you’ll see Merchandise Mart – the 25-story building that spans two whole city blocks, which up until 2008 had its own zip code! The Mart is a hub for design, art, culture, business and fashion. Home to restaurants, bars, shopping options, and art galleries the Mart has an exciting venture for any potential adventure. Recently, the building has adapted “Art on the MART” – an artistic video projection on the side of the building, luring thousands of spectators weekly.
Chicagoans often seek out the buzzing nightlife that resides amongst the streets of River North. Filled with award-winning restaurants, swanky cocktail lounges, live music venues, and popular dance clubs. The neighborhood also boasts a variety of dining options ranging in price and type of cuisine.
